These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website tibetgo.org and all related tour planning, booking, consultation, and travel services provided by TibetGo. By accessing our website or booking any service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
By using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you are booking on behalf of other travelers, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by TibetGo. A booking is not considered confirmed until we have received the required deposit or full payment and issued a written confirmation.
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and up-to-date personal information required for booking, permit applications, and travel arrangements. TibetGo is not responsible for delays, rejections, or losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.
Tour prices are quoted in the applicable currency shown at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Prices may include only the items specifically listed in your itinerary or quotation.
If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and retain any applicable deposit or fees.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to [email protected]. Cancellation becomes effective only when we confirm receipt in writing.
Permit fees, processing fees, custom arrangements, and expenses already paid to hotels, transport providers, or government authorities may be non-refundable.
TibetGo reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, routes, schedules, or travel services when necessary due to weather, road conditions, political restrictions, permit decisions, safety concerns, public health events, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we must make a material change or cancel a confirmed booking, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative arrangement, travel credit, rescheduling option, or refund as appropriate under the circumstances.
Travel to Tibet requires special permits and may also require a valid passport, Chinese visa, and other supporting documentation. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your travel documents are valid, complete, and meet all entry requirements.
TibetGo may assist with permit application procedures, but we do not guarantee permit approval. Government authorities may reject, delay, or revoke permits without explanation. TibetGo is not liable for losses resulting from permit refusals or government travel restrictions.
Tibet and Himalayan regions involve high-altitude travel, remote terrain, and changing weather conditions. You acknowledge that participation may involve inherent risks, including altitude sickness, transportation delays, illness, injury, or emergency evacuation.
You are responsible for assessing your physical condition, obtaining medical advice when appropriate, and informing us of any relevant health conditions before travel. We reserve the right to decline or limit participation when we reasonably believe it may affect your safety or the safety of others.
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment, emergency evacuation, baggage loss, personal liability, and high-altitude travel activities. TibetGo is not responsible for uninsured losses, including missed departures, medical costs, or force majeure disruptions.
You agree to comply with local laws, cultural customs, guide instructions, safety rules, and environmental protection requirements throughout your trip. Respectful conduct is especially important in monasteries, sacred sites, border areas, and local communities.
We reserve the right to remove any traveler from a tour without refund if their behavior is unlawful, dangerous, abusive, disruptive, or likely to negatively affect the experience or safety of others.
